Availability - DC Access

DC Access is an application installed in a mobile phone connected to the DataChassi service portal. This means that you know who has taken responsibillity for the transport, where it is and the driver can easily report any problems.

The transport can be tracked via the service portal. It´s easy to set up check points with geofencing, by which it´s possible to check that the transport is on schedule. When the transport passes a position about 30 minutes before arrival, a message is sent to notify the staff at depot.

There is no need for costly equipment to use this technology since it runs on mobile phones. The software can be installed on phones running Symbian and Android.

The application contains the following components:

Transport Access - used by the driver to confirm his / her identity and take the formal responsibillity of the transport. The driver can also turn the alarm DC Fence on and off, activate geofencing, meaning that the trailer sounds the alarm if it is broken into or moved.

Messages - It´s easy for the driver to send a message if there is a delay or if there is free cargo space. The transport leader is notified via the service portal.

Assistance - The driver can get in touch with the transport leader or SOS central if an urgent problem occurs.

Tracking - The position of the transport and its destination are available to the driver.

When delivery has been made, the driver makes a dispatch. This means that the transport and the mobile unit are no longer seen by the commissioner. Only active transports are visible in the system. This means haulier's invoices can be made up easily using the service portal's statistic function.
