Diesel protection - DC Tankguard

DC Tankguard is a patented security solution that protects from diesel theft by replacing the existing sidemarking light or lights adjecent to the diesel tank.

Using the embedded radar sensors the driver is warned if an intruder stays for too long next to the diesel tank. The unit also has a vibration sensor to complement the radar unit, to alert the driver of any attempts to tamper with the lid, or to drill a hole in the tank.

DC Tankguard does not send an alarm immidiately but gives warning by sound and light to avoid false alarms. All communication is wireless from the modified side marking light and is relayed by an micro gateway into the vehicle's existing on board computer (OBC) or alarm system. The alarm may also be routed to an alarm central, the driver's home office and predefined mobile phone numbers.

DC Tankguard may also serve as a communication link to wireless units on the trailer such as Trailer ID, tire pressure measurements etc.

DC Tankguard is easy to mount and can be installed on tractor units pulling semi-trailers, distribution and contruction vehicles.
