Mobile alarm - DC Safelog

Theft from lorries and trailers is a growing problem for many businesses. It causes downtime and drives cost. DC Safelog Mobile Alarm is a unique system aimed at professional use in the transport sector. It´s based on proven technology which, combined with an easy operation, guarantees unprecedented reliability.

The alarm is designed to be installed in trailers of all types as well as in containers. The alarm can be permanently or temporarily installed. Temporary installation is by using the strong magnets in the casing.
The alarm is based in a robust box, designed for use in demanding environments. The alarm consists of a temperature sensor, motion detector, battery and a communication unit.

The motion detector is able to scan a 360 degree area. It´s possible to mount or attach the alarm in various ways. It can be stored on top of the goods, facing upwards, or laying on the side. The main place to mount the alarm is however facing down from the ceiling.

If motion is detected, an alarm is sent to a receiver. The alarm is sent as a SMS utilizing the inbuilt GSM unit. An active sim-card is required for the service to work.

Activation and de-activation of the alarm is done via mobile phone or remote control.

The battery is rechargeable and is able to power the alarm for three to five days depending on the circumstances. Recharging can be done using 24 volt from the trailer or alternatively 220 volt using a charger.
